Synopsis:The Powerpuff Girls are back in this all-new adventure by Troy Little! There are some strange things going on in Townsville. The villains are villains no-more and are teaming up with the heroes? It's a good thing Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup are still around - just in case!

Review: Growing up, The Powerpuff Girls was always on our TV. My sister and I loved watching the cartoon, and so I was really excited when I stumbled across this comic book. And let me tell you, I was not disappointed! This was everything I hoped it would be.

If you're a  long-time fan of the Powerpuff Girls, all of your favorites make an appearance in this comic. Mojo-Jojo is, of course, the main villain, but HIM, Sedusa, Princess Morbucks, The Gangrene Gang, Fuzzy Lumpkins, and all of the other villains who constantly terrorize Townsville are back once again. This time though, they've changed their ways and are helping the citizens of Townsville! Nothing is ever what it seems though, and the Girls learn a lesson about second chances and trust.

The narrator, as always, was my favorite part of these comics. He's sarcastic and constantly breaking the fourth wall, and all of his terrible puns are still there. I even read the narrator parts in his voice, so that was pretty fun. I especially love when he makes fun of the Powerpuff Girls for making terrible puns... they are pretty bad, but his are no better.

I would definitely recommend this comic book to anyone who grew up with The Powerpuff Girls and has missed them on TV. I could totally see this story being an episode, and all of the subtle things that are in it for fans of the old show are most excellent. I also think that this would be a nice comic to share with younger kids, since it's clean and fun and everything that kids loved about the show. I don't think that people who aren't familiar with the Powerpuff Girls would enjoy these as much, but it's still a cute comic and worth the read. A 4/5, and I'm looking forward to the next volume!
